  • ~/.emacs.d/init.el에는 다음과 같은 일을 할 것입니다.
    • 초기 파일/폴더 관련 설정
    • package.el와 use-package를 이용해 패키지를 받을 저장소를 지정합니다.

초기 파일/폴더 관련 설정

elisp설명
custom-file설정파일 경로
user-emacs-directory초기화 파일이 있는 폴더
locate-user-emacs-fileuser-emacs-directory기준 새로운 경로 반환
load파일을 로드합니다.
make-backup-files백업파일을 만듭니다.
create-lockfileslock파일을 만듭니다.
  • ~.emacs.d/custom.el과 같이 하드코딩하는 것은 좋지 않습니다(--init-directory 옵션을 사용할 경우를 대비).
  • locate-user-emacs-file 함수를 이용하면 user-emacs-directory기준으로 경로를 반환합니다.
